How It Felt in My Testing
This is the Vertex I would hand to more players. It has enough bite but gives you a little more time in defense.
The hybrid shape helped on low back-glass recoveries. I still had enough overhead weight to pressure the corner, but I made fewer cheap errors than with pure diamonds.
During a tie-break drill, I kept using the Hybrid for safer lobs and then attacking the next ball. That pattern felt very natural.
